Graduation Ceremony Marks End of Academic Year at Poděbrady Centre

On June 5, the ceremonial hall near the castle gardens at the Poděbrady Centre hosted a graduation ceremony, symbolically closing the 2024/2025 academic year. Students, teachers and staff gathered to celebrate the successful completion of a demanding period of study.

Diplomas were awarded to students who successfully completed the foundation programmes, while several students also received special awards from their class teachers in recognition of excellent attendance and exceptional effort during the year.

During the ceremony, teachers bid farewell to their students—many with emotion in their eyes as they reflected on the past academic year. The atmosphere was further enriched by two musical performances by Carlos, a student from Mexico, and a recital of original poetry by Min from Myanmar.

The celebration concluded with recognition for the Centre’s educators, followed by a heartfelt closing speech from Director PhDr. Dana Hůlková Nývltová, Ph.D., expressing gratitude to both students and teachers.
