According to the law, higher education in the Czech Republic (bachelor’s and master’s degree studies) is free for everyone, including foreigners. The only condition is that you have to study in Czech. But don’t be afraid! It is difficult, but possible.

The program prepares students not only for their first job, but also for the fifth, tenth and even for the last job in their career, sometime in 2060-70.
Students gain a deep understanding of engineering principles based on mathematical, physical, computer, system, robotic, cyber- and electrical sciences and develop them through creative work in laboratories and on projects. They can adjust the curriculum according to their own interests, goals and abilities.
The challenge and flexibility of their education, with an emphasis on its fundamental nature and interdisciplinarity, on the development of creativity and thinking, on independence and collaborative skills, will be the main competitive advantage in the careers of our graduates.
The program will prepare them well for working as engineers in the 21st century, with the flexibility to change tasks, teams, companies, and even disciplines throughout their careers.

The preparatory course at ÚJOP Charles University includes intensive Czech language learning and training in special subjects, the knowledge of which you will need at the entrance exams and during your further studies. The course is also suitable for those who are starting to learn Czech from scratch. Our language certificate is recognized by more than 80 faculties of state universities, which means that you won’t need to take an exam in Czech when you apply to a university.
