Enjoy the culinary experience

The kitchen is the centre of every household and cooking together is one of the most popular activities on campus. In Hostivař there are 10 rooms on each floor, with a shared kitchen. The kitchen is supplied with just basic equipment, so we recommend that students get their own during the first weeks. You will cook on an induction hob and if you run out of supplies, just pop into a nearby grocery shop. There is also a restaurant near the dorms, so you have the chance to explore authentic Czech cuisine.

Unique location

The accommodation in the student campus in Prague Hostivař is located at the final stop of trams 26 and 22 within walking distance from the Charles University Sports Centre. The Prague-Hostivař railway station is also nearby, with a city train that takes you to the city centre in just 15 minutes. The nearest metro station is Strašnická. Depending on the mode of transport you choose, it takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour to get from the dormitory to the Krystal Study Centre, and 35 to 40 minutes to the Voršilská Study Centre.

Rest in the heart of nature

If you need a break from studying, just take a walk to the nearby forest park or the Hostivař Lake. The lake is the largest reservoir in Prague and it has sandy beaches, beach volleyball courts, a boat rental and refreshments.
