The First-Ever EduHub Took Place at UJOP UK

On Friday, 21 November, the very first EduHub university fair was held at the Krystal Centre, offering students of the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies (UJOP) the opportunity to meet representatives of more than twenty Czech universities and their faculties. When the clock struck one and the day’s programme began, the corridors and classrooms on the first two floors of the Krystal Centre filled with preparatory-course students not only from Prague but also from Poděbrady. In addition to individual consultations with university representatives, students could attend lectures presenting the study programmes of various universities and faculties, their admission requirements, as well as topics such as intercultural communication and how to better understand and communicate in the Czech Republic.

Students Speaking Twenty-Three Languages Met at the Find Your Czech! Event

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the traditional event Find Your Czech! took place at the UJOP Voršilská Centre in Prague. Its aim is to connect foreigners studying Czech with Czechs who want to improve their foreign language skills through conversations with native speakers.

Ceremonial Launch of the Project Language as a Gateway for Ukrainian Scholarship Holders Held at the Krystal Centre

On Thursday afternoon, the Krystal Centre hosted the ceremonial opening of the project Language as a Gateway, which UJOP UK has been organizing for many years to help Ukrainian scholarship holders master the Czech language. This year, 51 students have joined the programme.

UJOP is Making Dreams Come True: Myanmarese Student Shwe Moe Eain’s Study Experience at UJOP

Last school year, UJOP welcomed a group of students from Myanmar who chose the Czech Republic to pursue their higher education. One of these students, Shwe Moe Eain, is currently studying the Engineering and IT program at UJOP Charles University and shared her experience with us.
