UJOP Charles University is offering Ambassador Scholarships for foundation programmes for the 2027/28 academic year.

Each scholarship covers 50% of the foundation programme tuition fee — scholarship holders pay only half of the regular tuition fee.

We are looking for motivated and talented students from selected countries who dream of studying in the Czech Republic, have strong academic results, and are eager to share their journey with others.

What is the UJOP Ambassador Scholarship?

The Ambassador Scholarship is for students who will successfully complete their high school education before starting their foundation programme and wish to prepare for university studies at UJOP Charles University.

Applicants should:

• have very good academic results,

• want to study in the Czech Republic and prepare for university studies,

• be active on social media (Instagram or Facebook) and be ready to share their study experience and represent UJOP UK in their community,

• have at least a B1 level of English.

Which programme can you get a scholarship for?

Choose one of the foundation programmes offered either in Czech — preparing you for future tuition-free studies in Czech at Czech public universities — or in English, preparing you for degree programmes taught in English.

How to apply

Choose your study field and fill in the online application form. In addition to a copy of your passport and other requirements based on your selected programme, make sure you complete all five steps below (please note incomplete applications will not be considered):

• 1. Academic results

  • Attach your academic record of achievement for the last three years.

• 2. Motivation letter

  • Attach a motivation letter in English (max. 300 words).

  • Include:

    • what you want to study and why — tell us about your dream career,

    • why you chose UJOP and the Czech Republic,

    • why you should be selected — mention your achievements, projects, hobbies,

    • volunteering or other relevant activities.

• 3. Proof of English level

  • Provide proof of at least B1 English — IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge, Pearson PTE or Duolingo certificate.

• 4. Social media profile

  • Include a link to your active social media account (Instagram or Facebook), where you plan to share posts about your studies at UJOP UK.

• 5. Video reel

  • Include a link to your video reel in English.

  • The reel should:

    • be one video of max. 90 seconds in English,

    • also be posted in your own language,

    • be uploaded to the social media account mentioned in point 4,

What we expect from Ambassador Scholarship holders

• Successful and active participation in the UJOP UK foundation programme

• Compliance with academic and behavioural rules and responsible representation of UJOP, Charles University and the Czech Republic

• Regular posting about your studies and student experience at UJOP (once a week during your studies, once in two weeks in the next academic year)

• Participation in at least 3 UJOP events

• Regular communication and cooperation with the UJOP marketing team

Important notice

The Ambassador Scholarship covers 50% of the foundation programme tuition fee. Scholarship holders are responsible for paying the remaining 50% of the tuition fee as well as their accommodation, living expenses, health insurance, travel, visa-related expenses and other personal costs.

Applicants who require a Czech visa must also meet the current financial and other requirements for their visa application.

What’s next after the foundation programme?

After successfully completing your foundation programme, you can continue to a Czech university.

If you choose to study a degree programme in Czech at a Czech public university, your studies can be tuition-free. Degree programmes taught in English are subject to tuition fees set by individual universities and faculties.
