Become an ambassador for studying in the Czech Republic!

For the very first time, UJOP Charles University is offering scholarships for its foundation programmes for the 2026/27 academic year.

We are looking for motivated and talented students from selected countries who dream of studying in the Czech Republic, have strong academic results, and are eager to share their journey with the world.

What is the UJOP Ambassador Scholarship?

This scholarship is for students who will successfully complete their high school education by the end of this academic year and wish to join a foundation programme at UJOP Charles University.

Applicants should:

• have very good academic results,

• want to study in the Czech Republic and prepare for university studies,

• be active on social media (Instagram or Facebook) and want to represent UJOP UK in their community,

• have at least a B1 level of English.

Which programme can you get a scholarship for?

Choose one of the foundation programmes offered either in Czech (for future FREE studies at Czech public universities) or in English (for studies at Czech universities at affordable tuition rates) in the following fields:

• Medicine & Pharmacy (CZ / EN)

• Economics (CZ / EN)

• Engineering & IT (CZ / EN)

• Natural Sciences (CZ only)

• Humanities (CZ only)

• Art & Architecture (CZ only)

Choose your programme

What can you gain?

• One of three scholarships for a foundation programme at UJOP Charles University (the scholarship covers the entire tuition fee).

• Opportunities to collaborate at UJOP events.

• A chance to continue as an ambassador for Charles University or the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (DZS).

• Experience in marketing and event management, including training in Canva.

• A certificate and recommendation letter confirming your successful participation.

How to apply

Choose your study field and fill in the online application form.

In addition to a copy of your passport, make sure you complete all five steps below:

• 1. Attach your academic record of achievement for the last three years.

• 2. Attach a motivation letter (max. 300 words, typed in English).

  Include what and why you want to study (your dream career).

  Why you chose UJOP / the Czech Republic.

  Why you should be selected (mention other projects, achievements, hobbies, volunteering, etc.).

• 3. Provide proof of English level (min. B1) — IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge PTE, Pearson, or Duolingo certificate.

• 4. Include a link to your active social media account (Instagram or Facebook), where you plan to share posts about your studies at UJOP UK.

• 5. Include a link to your video reel in English.

  The reel should:

  • Be a single video (max. 90 seconds) in English (also post the same video in your language) uploaded to the social channel mentioned in point 4.

  • Contain tags:

  • Begin with the sentence:

Selection criteria

• Academic performance

• Quality and authenticity of the motivation letter

• Appropriateness of the social media content

• Creativity and execution of the reel

• Completion of all application steps and reel requirements

Application deadline: December 15, 2025

Winners announced: January 15, 2026

What we expect from scholarship holders

• Successful and active participation in the UJOP UK foundation programme

• Compliance with academic and behavioural rules, representing the good name of UJOP, Charles University, and the Czech Republic

• Regular posting about your studies at UJOP (once per week during your foundation programme, once every two weeks the following year)

• Participation in at least three UJOP events over two years

• Regular communication with the marketing team

Important notice

To obtain a Czech study visa, you must show proof of 5,000 EUR in your bank account and be able to cover living expenses of about 7,000 EUR per year, plus other costs such as flights, insurance, and accommodation.

What’s next after the foundation programme?

Depending on your chosen language of study you can study for free at Czech public universities (if you study in Czech), or study at affordable tuition rates in English.
