On Thursday, 22 January, students of UJOP gathered at the Voršilská Chapel for a ceremonial event marking the official conclusion of the winter semester. The occasion included the presentation of certificates and served as a formal close to the academic term.

Representatives of Metropolitan University Prague (MUP) and the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies of Charles University (UJOP UK) met on 19 January to discuss strengthening cooperation in the language and academic preparation of international applicants, as well as in support for international students.

On Wednesday, 14 January, students enrolled in economic, technical and IT preparatory programmes at UJOP in Poděbrady took part in an educational excursion to four leading Czech universities in Prague: the Czech Technical University (CTU), the Czech University of Life Sciences (CZU), the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University, and the Prague University of Economics and Business. The visits gave students a valuable opportunity to familiarise themselves with the university environment, available study programmes, admission requirements, and potential career pathways. The programme included faculty presentations, guided tours of university campuses, and personal meetings with current students and academic staff.

Barmankul Nuray from Kazakhstan, a graduate of the art preparatory programme at the Crystal Centre of UJOP, is participating in the major group exhibition Vladimír Véla and Students – Sutnarka Painting. The exhibition runs from 12 November 2025 to 12 April 2026 at the House U Jonáše in Pardubice. The curator of the exhibition is Petr Vaňous.
