STUDY

Your goal is to study successfully at a university in the Czech Republic.
Our goal is to prepare you for it.

The preparatory programme begins with a one-week intensive Czech language course, accompanied by an introduction to Czech culture and history and basic information about the study centre and Charles University. From the second week on, lessons to master the Czech language on both general and professional levels begin. The lessons also include an introduction to mathematics to prepare you for the entrance exams for economics.

You can look forward to lectures, seminars and study assignments with feedback from teachers. The teachers combine theoretical lessons with practical assignments and exercises to prepare students for the entrance exams and subsequent university studies (independent work, responsibility, time management). A bonus of the programme is the opportunity to attend lectures at selected universities in the last trimester.

„It's a coincidence that I'm a teacher at ILPS. One of the best coincidences in my life. My job is to help students get to know the language and culture of the country where they have decided to start their professional career and to try to make their start as successful as possible.“

Integral to the study is the ongoing evaluation of your progress in both language and mathematics. This enables both you and us to assess how well you are meeting your educational goals. Diagnostic tests will help measure your progress and highlight areas where further effort is needed. At the end of the course, based on the results of the final exam, you will receive a certificate indicating your Czech language proficiency (expected level - B1) and a certificate confirming the acquired academic knowledge.

PLEASE NOTE

The LITE programme is intended for students heading to university with the required entry level B1 Czech according to the CEFR. For obtaining a higher language level, the COMPLEX programme is designed.
