They want to become a doctor and help people, but first they decided to join the preparatory programme for medical and pharmacy studies at the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies. Now the students are facing a difficult decision as to which of the medical faculties in the Czech Republic they choose for their study. A visit to the Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Hradec Králové helped them to get acquainted with the study conditions and student life.

Recently, employees of five partner institutions took advantage of the unique opportunity to participate in the Practical English for Staff course, where they spent a week improving their communication skills in English.

It is the love of the Czech language and the intensive language course they took together in the winter semester that unites students from Vietnam, Korea, Thailand, Japan, Chile, Australia and America. For almost five months, more than 160 students from 36 countries from all over the world successfully worked on their language skills every day at the Voršilská study centre in the centre of Prague.
