Why I chose Engineering and IT programme

Studying here has been an incredibly comfortable experience. The schedule is well-structured, so I always know when and where I need to be. The teachers are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely kind and funny, making learning enjoyable. They explain the material in a way that’s easy to understand, and the subjects themselves are quite interesting. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both my results and the academic support I’ve received.

Living in Poděbrady

At first, I was worried that living in a small town might be boring - especially with the rainy weather. And yes, it’s true that Poděbrady is quieter than a big city, but that turned out to be a great advantage. With fewer distractions, I can focus on my studies much better. Plus, Prague is not far away, so whenever I want a change of scenery, I can easily visit the capital for some fun activities.

Preparing for University

I feel that this program is doing a great job preparing me for university. We cover all the essential subjects required for my future studies, and there is plenty of guidance available when applying to universities. If I ever need help, I can always reach out to the teachers or tutors for support.

Overall, my experience in this program has been positive, and I’m excited about what’s ahead. If you’re considering studying at Charles University, I would definitely recommend the Foundation course - it offers great preparation, supportive teachers, and a balanced study environment.
