Entrance exams and coursework at Czech universities are based on the Czech high school curriculum. Foundation programs are not a substitute for high school—their goal is to build on your existing knowledge, review it, deepen your understanding, and prepare you for university studies in accordance with the requirements of Czech universities.
The content of secondary school curricula varies by country, so we have prepared an overview of the topics most frequently covered in entrance exams. Please review these topics carefully before the program begins and ensure that you understand them in your native language (use your high school textbooks or take advantage of online courses, such as Khan Academy).
Knowledge of physics, mathematics, chemistry, and biology (if relevant to your field of study) is particularly important. Learning these subjects for the first time during the preparatory program is very challenging and can significantly hinder your academic progress.
The better prepared you are before the program begins, the more you will benefit from it. In addition, you will feel more confident from day one, thereby increasing your chances of success in your college studies.
