SHORT-TERM COURSES

STEP 1: FILL IN THE ON-LINE APPLICATION FORM

In the details of the course you have chosen, click on the APPLY button, which will take you to the online application form. The application form must be filled out in the Latin alphabet.

STEP 2: AUTO-REPLY UPON RECEIPT OF YOUR APPLICATION

Once you have submitted your online application, you will receive an automatic confirmation to the e-mail address provided in your application.

The confirmation includes:

  • a PDF file with a copy of your application form

  • payment instructions and invoice information

  • Instructions for completing the written placement test

STEP 3: PAY FOR THE COURSE

Payment must be made no later than 14 days before the start of the course. Tuition fees must be paid in full so that we can admit you to the course and assign an oral interview date.

Attention: We recommend making the payment at least 15 days before the start of the lesson, which will make further communication much easier and speed up your enrolment in the course and the right class according to your level of knowledge of Czech.

STEP 4: FURTHER COMMUNICATION VIA E-MAIL

  • As soon as we receive your payment for the course, you will receive an email from the Central Study Department assistant with a confirmation of the payment.

  • Approximately 7 days before the start of the course, you will receive an e-mail from the Central Study Department assistant with an Information Letter, from which you will learn:

    • Date and time of the start of the study

    • Address of the study centre

    • Important contacts

    • Textbook Information

  • Approximately 7 days before the start of the course, you will receive an email from the study centre assistant with the date of the oral interview, which will help us to place you in the appropriate class. We will offer you more dates to choose from.

  • During the week before the start of classes, you will receive an e-mail from the study centre assistant with access data for MS Teams – a platform/information channel between students and the study centre. For online courses, MS Teams serves as a virtual classroom where all teaching and communication with teachers will take place.
