UJOP UK visited Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is one of the countries where a large number of students who choose the Czech Republic as their study destination come from. That is why representatives of the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies of Charles University (UJOP UK) regularly visit the country and help the local applicants in choosing the most suitable study programme in the Czech Republic.

They travelled to Kazakhstan this year in the first week of October. The trip included a visit to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Astana, where they discussed with the Czech representatives the possibilities of how UJOP UK can contribute to ensuring a smoother process of issuing student visas in the Czech Republic.

One of the main focuses of the trip of the representatives of UJOP UK was to meet with partners in the field of education and students who are interested in studying at UJOP UK or would like to pursue any of the fields of study at Charles University or other universities in the Czech Republic. Other important parts of the trip were the participation in educational fairs in Astana and Almaty and the presentation of study opportunities in the Czech Republic at the linguistic high school in Almaty.

Thanks to these regular travels, UJOP manages to reinforce its relations with Kazakh partners, inform Kazakh students about educational opportunities in the Czech Republic and at the same time collect information about language education in Kazakhstan and the needs of potential foreign students in the Czech Republic.
