The main office of the Institute of Language and Preparatory Studies is located in the centre of Prague. It houses the headquarters of the Institute, the administrative department and the Student Services Department.Centres
Prague (Hostivar)
Our centre in Prague (Hostivar) prepares applicants for the study of technical subjects. The centre is 30 minutes by public transport from the city centre.
Prague (Krystal)
Our centre in Prague (Krystal) prepares students for the study of humanities, arts subjects and architecture. It is located in the Prague Dejvice area, approximately half an hour's journey from the city centre.
Prague (Voršilská)
Our centre in Prague (Voršilská) is located in the centre of the Czech capital (near the National Theatre) and focuses on intensive Czech language courses for foreigners.
Marianske Lazne
The centre is situated in the heart of the beautiful spa town, approximately two hours by car from Prague. Applicants are prepared for the study of medicine and science subjects.
Podebrady
Our centre in Poděbrady is situated approximately 50 km from Prague. The centre runs preparatory courses for study in Czech (technical subjects) and English (engineering, economics and medicine).

Research and Test Centre
The Research and Test Centre is situated in Prague and provides the Czech Language Certificate Exam.
The Methodological and Professional Centre
The Methodological and Professional Centre deals with the methodological guidance of teaching Czech for foreigners at ILPS CU, education of teachers teaching Czech for foreigners in the Czech Republic and abroad, and scientific activities in the field of linguistics and linguodidactics.
