ABOUT THE COURSE

Classes take place once a week on Saturdays and focus primarily on communication, active use of the language, and expanding vocabulary across a range of topics. Classes are held in small groups of 6 to a maximum of 8 students, creating plenty of space for everyone to participate actively, practise conversation, and benefit from the teacher’s individual approach.

The course is ideal for those who want to stay in touch with Czech, gain more confidence in speaking, and use their free weekend time in a meaningful and effective way. One class per week is enough to help you stay connected with Czech and gradually improve.

Conversation Course for Upper Beginners

Student before the course:

already manages basic communication in Czech,
understands common everyday situations,
has vocabulary for everyday topics,
does not yet feel confident speaking and would like to become more comfortable expressing themselves in Czech,
needs more opportunities to actively use Czech.

The course is designed for students who already know the basics of Czech and can communicate in simple everyday situations, but would like to overcome hesitation when speaking and gain greater confidence in using the language. The aim of the course is to encourage active communication, practise practical everyday topics, and help students feel more comfortable speaking Czech. Students will expand their vocabulary, practise common communication situations, and learn to respond more naturally and spontaneously. The course provides a safe and friendly environment where students can gradually build confidence and become more comfortable speaking Czech.

Advanced Conversation Course

Student before the course:

communicates fluently in Czech,
works or studies in a Czech-speaking environment,
has already completed various Czech courses, including advanced-level courses,
wants to maintain and further develop their Czech,
is looking for language partners and opportunities for more advanced discussions.

The course is designed for advanced students who actively use Czech and want to further develop their communication skills, fluency, and language accuracy. Through discussions on current social, cultural, and professional topics, participants will expand their vocabulary, improve their ability to express and defend their opinions, and practise expressing themselves naturally in a variety of communication situations. The course provides space for exchanging opinions, sharing experiences, and maintaining regular contact with Czech at an advanced level.

Online courses run on the MS Teams platform in the CET time zone. The MS Teams license is included in the course fee. You will need: PC/laptop, camera, microphone and a stable internet connection.
