Students from the Socio-Cultural Seminar Produce Impressive Video Reports

As part of the socio-cultural seminar attended by students enrolled in humanities-oriented preparatory courses, participants are given a range of assignments each trimester. One of these tasks is to produce their own video report on a cultural topic of their choice.

Creativity knows no bounds at UJOP. This trimester, students focused on a variety of locations across Prague, including Olšany Cemeteries, the Powder Tower, Vyšehrad, and Letná Park. Others explored the world of art, producing reports on David Černý’s Musoleum, the National Gallery’s Trade Fair Palace, and Designblok. Some turned their attention to Czech gastronomy, featuring the Kuchyně restaurant at Prague Castle, while others addressed broader social issues and everyday life in the Czech Republic, such as Housing in Prague or the Lives of Czech Women.

Students are free to choose topics according to their own interests, allowing them to practice Czech, deepen their understanding of Prague and Czech society, and create lasting memories. You can watch their video reports on our YouTube channel:
