Special three-semester course for Chinese students
Students from China are specifically offered new preparatory courses for Czech university programmes taught in Czech. The method used is adapted to special learning needs of Chinese native speakers and respects the difficulties of studying Slavic languages and a significant culture gap.
This course is designed for extremely talented and successful graduates of secondary schools who are interested in studying Czech language and preparing for demanding entrance exams for Czech technical and natural sciences university programmes. The course is only for students over 18 years old. The condition for admission is sufficient knowledge of English.
In the first semester, sudents will attend intensive 25 hours of Czech per week. Subsequently, they will be divided into special classes based on their preferred specialization, which means that the course will be extended by specialized subjects, amounting to 35 hours per week.
From the 2nd semestr, the students will be divided into ILPS CU study centres (Marianske Lazne and Podebrady) according to their future specialisation.
Upon successful completion of the three-semester course, students will receive a course completion certificate and Czech Language certificate within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, which is required for taking the entrance examination at Czech universities and colleges. If students are accepted to a Czech university, they will continue studying under the same conditions as Czech students, meaning for free.
If you are interested in enrolling on the course, please fill in the online form, and you will be contacted by one of our study consultants.
